Canadian progressive metal veterans Protest The Hero have released pro-shot live footage of their song “Turn Soonest To The Sea” from a special performance celebrating their landmark debut album ‘Kezia’.
The footage was originally filmed during a series of shows in December 2015, where the band performed ‘Kezia’ in celebration of the album’s anniversary. The newly released performance was later included as part of the band’s recently issued 20th anniversary vinyl box set for the acclaimed record.
“Turn Soonest To The Sea” remains one of the standout tracks from ‘Kezia’, an album widely regarded as a defining release within the progressive metal and post-hardcore scenes.
The live video captures the band revisiting material that helped establish Protest The Hero’s technical style and ambitious songwriting, while also highlighting the continued fan appreciation surrounding the album two decades after its original release.
