PUPIL SLICER Release “Black Scrawl” Music Video

Pupil Slicer have just unveiled a raw and unrelenting new video for “Black Scrawl”, offering fans a one-shot performance of the technical bruiser. The track originally debuted earlier this month alongside its counterpart “Heather”, which also received its own music video at the time.

Speaking on the new visual, vocalist/guitarist Kate Davies shared:

“‘Black Scrawl’ is the more technical of the two new songs we’ve just released. In the video we’ve opted for a single take video to showcase the individual musicianship of the song that comes together to make this pummelling in-your-face track. It’s raw and ferocious from the get go and aims to get people moving. We hope you enjoy it!”

Davies also teased a heavier direction for the band’s future output, hinting at what’s to come from their anticipated third studio album:

“The new music is our most direct and heavy to date, so we expect people to move around and get a little crazy for them.”

Pupil Slicer are currently taking “Heather” / “Black Scrawl” on the road with UK dates alongside Tayne, and will return in late fall for a string of dates supporting LLNN on their Unmaker performances.

No release date has been revealed yet for Pupil Slicer’s third full-length, though recording sessions reportedly wrapped earlier this year.
