PURGE OF SANITY Sign to Seek And Strike, Announce New EP ‘The Expense Of Striving To Heal’

Rising French metal outfit Purge Of Sanity have officially signed to Seek And Strike, joining a label known for championing cutting-edge heavy acts. Their next chapter begins with the announcement of their new EP The Expense Of Striving To Heal, due out August 1st. The band have also released a video for the first single “Candescent”, which is streaming now.

Speaking on the meaning behind “Candescent”, the band shared:

“Our first single, ‘Candescent,’ is a call to resistance for every person that is being silenced and killed for the simple crime of being who they are. It expresses our rejection of the established order, and offers a ray of hope to every kid who gets bullied or killed because of their gender, race and social class.”

As for the tone and spirit of the EP itself, Purge Of Sanity added:

“This entire EP encapsulates all our feelings about a world that oppresses, silences and shames all those not born to obey its twisted rules. It expresses our struggles to find hope and our all-consuming rage to do what’s right for ourselves and our fellow humans. This EP is a renewal for us with the aim of achieving a modern and intense sound, recreating the effervescence that represents the fusion between metal music and various other styles.”
