Queens Of The Stone Age have unveiled their latest single, “Where The Goth Girls At?”, alongside a new music video co-directed by Christopher Gruse and Tony Wolski of The Armed and Genghis Tron.
The song serves as the third advance single from the band’s upcoming ninth studio album, ‘Perfecth’, which is scheduled for release on October 30.
Frontman and guitarist Josh Homme offered a nostalgic explanation for the inspiration behind the track:
“Growing up… watching the goth girls working the counter at JCPenney and giving goth makeovers to the old ladies, that’s when I knew the only place I want to be is where the goth girls at. Teenage love, ain’t it grand?”
The accompanying video also features several recognizable appearances, including actor and comedian Steve Agee, known for his work in Peacemaker and other projects.
