Legendary NYC post-hardcore outfit Quicksand have unveiled another preview of their upcoming studio album ‘Bring On The Psychics’ with the release of their new single, “Crystallize.”
The track marks the third song to emerge from the band’s forthcoming fifth full-length effort, which is scheduled to arrive July 17 through Equal Vision Records.
A new music video directed by Jesse Korman accompanies the single. Korman — best known for his work with The Number Twelve Looks Like You — also directed the visuals for the album’s previously released songs “Get To It” and “Regenerate.”
According to press materials surrounding the release, the band described “Crystallize” as:
“Post-punk self-actualization-core meets 1960s Batman fight scene.”
The upcoming album will mark Quicksand’s latest release following 2021’s ‘Distant Populations’.
