Danish metal outfit Raunchy have officially launched their comeback campaign with the release of “Designed Despair,” the first single from the band’s upcoming new studio album ‘Prisoner.’
The track marks the first preview of Raunchy’s first full-length record since their 2014 release, ending more than a decade-long gap between albums.
For the new effort, the band teamed with acclaimed producer Jacob Hansen, whose résumé includes work with Volbeat and The Black Dahlia Murder.
A summer release is currently planned for ‘Prisoner’ through Mighty Music, with additional details expected to be announced in the near future.
After years away from the album cycle, Raunchy now appear ready to re-enter the fold with fresh material and a new chapter on the horizon.
