Southern California deathcore outfit Reminitions have officially signed with Seek And Strike and announced plans to release a new EP, Death Cult, on September 4.
The band’s first release through the label arrives in the form of “12 Gauge Facial,” the opening track from the upcoming four-song EP. An accompanying music video directed by Rohan Akira has also debuted online.
Speaking about the new partnership and the material they’ve been working on, the band expressed enthusiasm for the next chapter of their career.
“We’re very excited to be joining Seek and Strike after years of grinding! We’ve been working long and hard on these songs we’re about to release and we’re thankful to have such an experienced team behind us.”
According to the group, finding a label that shared their creative vision was a major factor in signing with Seek And Strike.
“It wasn’t just about signing, it was about finding a team who saw the vision we do and believes in that vision as much as we do.”
As for “12 Gauge Facial,” the band described the track as a throwback to the early days of MySpace-era deathcore, built around memorable hooks and live-ready gang vocals.
“The first single, ’12 Gauge Facial,’ is a nod to the OG MySpace deathcore days. This song is about revenge in the best way possible.”
The group also emphasized their commitment to creating songs that connect with fans in a live setting.
“Crowd participation is important to us because it elevates the experience and creates some insanely memorable moments.”
Looking at the EP as a whole, Reminitions believe they have elevated every aspect of their sound while remaining true to the dark and aggressive style that has defined the band.
“With this EP we really wanted to give our fans what they expect from us, but elevating everything to the next level. The breakdowns hit harder, the riffs are massive, the quality is insane and the snare has more ping than ever.”

To support the release, Reminitions will hit the road later this month alongside In Gloom for an East Coast run that begins on July 19 in Pensacola, Florida.
