Hardcore punk outfit Restraining Order have released the official music video for “Used Love,” a track originally featured on their 2024 album Future Fortune, released September 12 via Blue Grape Music.
The new visual continues the band’s ongoing rollout from that record cycle, with the video directed by Derek Rathbun (Terror, Glare).
Drummer Will Hirst spoke about the concept behind the clip in an interview with Revolver, describing its intentionally chaotic tone and layered intent.
“At a surface level, the ‘Used Love’ music video may seem to be a commentary on anti-intellectualism, fart jokes and raging. At a deeper level, it is that, too.”
The release adds another visual entry to the Future Fortune era, with the band also planning an upcoming live album, with more details to be announced.
