Roman Candle Announce Debut Album ‘Unadulterated’, Share “Blasphemous Act” Video

Las Vegas screamo outfit Roman Candle have officially announced their debut full-length album, ‘Unadulterated’, setting an April 24 release via Sumerian Records. The announcement arrives alongside the premiere of the band’s new single and music video, “Blasphemous Act.”

The track marks the seventh preview released from the upcoming 12-song record and serves as a late addition that ultimately became essential to the album’s final vision.

Speaking on the song’s origins and intensity, vocalist Piper Ferrari explained how the track quickly proved impossible to ignore during the writing process:

“‘Blasphemous Act’ was the last song we wrote for the record, and it hit with such ferocity that it forced its way onto the album in the eleventh hour. The name came from a Magic: The Gathering card, but the song took on a life of its own — this unhinged, teeth-bared spiral of obsession and retribution.”

Ferrari added that the song revealed a darker creative space for the band, capturing a raw emotional edge that helped define the album’s closing stages.

“Lines like ‘your neck in my teeth is all that I need’ and ‘karma is owed, paid in full’ captured a darker, more primal side of the band that we didn’t even know we were still capable of tapping into… the record wouldn’t be complete without this song.”

Set to arrive after a steady rollout of singles, ‘Unadulterated’ represents Roman Candle’s first full-length statement, blending chaotic screamo energy with emotionally charged songwriting and aggressive experimentation.
