Man Dressed As Ronald McDonald Removed From 2025 ‘Aftershock Festival’ For Alleged Sexual Assault, Victims Urged To Contact Police

During the final day of the 2025 Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA on October 5th, a man dressed as Ronald McDonald was detained and removed from the festival after allegedly groping female concertgoers. Sacramento Police Department officers on-site arrested the individual, and footage shows him being escorted from the crowd during Story Of The Year’s set.

An anonymous post in a festival Facebook group urged potential victims to come forward, stating:

“P.S.A.
On Day 4 of Aftershock Festival (Sunday, Oct. 5th) at approximately 2:30 PM, Ronald McDonald was detained by Sacramento Police. Multiple witnesses reported the man groping and inappropriately touching female body surfers at the main stage. Security alerted police, who quickly located and detained him.

Because no victims had come forward at the time, he was ejected, trespassed, and released. Police have documented the incident and have his information.

If anyone experienced sexual assault, unwanted touching, or harassment in the crowd, please contact the Sacramento Police Department. Don’t feel embarrassed or ashamed—coming forward is how he can be arrested and held accountable. Don’t let him get away with it.”

Festival-goers and attendees are strongly encouraged to report any incidents to local authorities to ensure proper action is taken.
