SAVE US have unveiled a new music video for “Last Of Me”, the latest track to emerge from the alternative metal band’s forthcoming album, ‘Death To Something’.
The newly released clip was directed by Lorenzo Diego Carrera, while the song itself offers a preview of the record ahead of its October 16th release through Solid State.
‘Death To Something’ was produced by Landon Tewers of The Plot In You, with SAVE US vocalist Miguel Owls opening up about the personal subject matter behind “Last Of Me.”
“‘Last Of Me’ was an emotional challenge for me. I had so much I wanted to say, but I really pushed to keep it clear and honest without feeling wordy or cheesy. It’s about finally breaking free from a toxic relationship and recognizing the grip it had on you for so long.”
Owls went on to describe the track as being centered on both the weight of leaving a damaging relationship behind and the relief that can come with moving forward.
“There’s a lot of weight behind that realization, but also a sense of release. I truly hope this song helps people find the strength to let go, move forward, and start healing.”
‘Death To Something’ is due out October 16th via Solid State.
