NYC grunge revivalists Scarhaven have released an official music video for their new single “My Way.”
Directed by Zack Sharrosh, the visual arrives following an early premiere of the track on SiriusXM and continues the momentum generated by the band’s April release, the Changing EP.
Speaking collectively about the song, Scarhaven described “My Way” as a defiant response to societal pressures and conformity.
“‘My Way’ is the collective rebuking of a tyrannical system that is mercilessly trying to lull society into a homogenized order. Loud and unapologetic, ‘My Way’ is another heavy rock, modern grunge anthem for the people who almost don’t know they need it.”
The track further showcases the band’s blend of modern grunge, alternative rock, and heavy riff-driven songwriting, drawing influence from the genre’s 1990s roots while delivering a contemporary edge.
The release comes during a busy period for Scarhaven, who were recently announced as direct support for Alien Ant Farm’s upcoming “ANThology” 25th Anniversary Tour. The extensive run will see the band performing across the United States throughout September and October, exposing them to a wider audience as they continue building momentum.
With a new video, a growing profile, and a major tour on the horizon, Scarhaven appear poised to capitalize on the renewed interest in grunge-inspired rock music.
