Scowl Debut “B.A.B.E” Music Video, Announce European/UK Tour With Modern Color

Santa Cruz-based melodic hardcore outfit Scowl have just released a new track, “B.A.B.E”, an acronym for ‘Burned At Both Ends’. The song is set to appear on their upcoming album, Are We All Angels, which drops April 4th via Dead Oceans.

Speaking about the single, the band shared:

“Another explosion of emotions stemming from both overwhelm and excitement. We felt that the song’s punchy nature and quick switches from melody to scrapping angst resemble a mature version of ‘Shot Down’ from our Psychic Dance Routine EP. Lyrically, ‘B.A.B.E’ dives into our vitriol for the extreme circumstances we as a band subject ourselves to in order to live our dreams.”

Alongside the new single, Scowl have also announced a spring UK/European headlining tour with Modern Color. Pre-sales for the trek are currently live with the code ‘ALLANGELS’, while general on-sale begins this Thursday, February 13th.
