Michigan-based grindcore/metalcore outfit See You Next Tuesday is celebrating the 18th anniversary of their debut album Parasite and over two decades as a band with a special acoustic rendition of their track “Paraphilia.” The new version also features guest vocals from Tony of Crippling Alcoholism and is accompanied by a music video showcasing the band’s history.
Reflecting on the band’s journey, guitarist Drew Slavik shared the following statement:
“To say a lot has happened over the last 20 years is an understatement. With everything going on in the world right now, I wanted to take this opportunity to shout out the incredible people who have helped me bring my vision for See You Next Tuesday to life over the past two decades. From our current lineup to past members, they are all amazing musicians and artists that I’ve had the pleasure of writing and playing music with—going all the way back to those early days in Rick’s mom’s garage.”
Slavik also gave a heartfelt thanks to former and current members, as well as Good Fight Music (formerly Ferret Records) for their early support of the band.
