Sepultura are preparing for their final performances with an intimate event in São Paulo, Brazil, scheduled just two days before the band’s farewell show.
Dubbed ‘The Last Ceremony’, the November 5 event will take place at Cine Joia in São Paulo. The band will then play their final-ever show on November 7 at Suhai Music Hall, officially bringing their farewell run to a close.
The farewell concert was originally planned for the 26,000-capacity Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu, but Sepultura moved the event to the 9,000-capacity Suhai Music Hall last month.
The Brazilian metal legends announced their decision to retire in December 2023, subsequently embarking on a worldwide farewell tour celebrating their career.
After nearly four decades, that journey will officially come to an end in their hometown on November 7.
