Sheri Moon Zombie has officially stepped into the spotlight as a recording artist, unveiling her debut solo single, “I Love My Robot.”
Best known for her work as an actress and longtime creative collaborator of Rob Zombie, Sheri’s first musical offering takes a tongue-in-cheek approach to modern technology. While the track pokes fun at the growing influence of artificial intelligence, it simultaneously embraces more traditional robotic innovations, delivering its message with a playful sense of humor.
The song was recorded with acclaimed producer Zeuss, whose extensive résumé includes work with Rob Zombie, Hatebreed, and numerous other heavy music acts. Meanwhile, Rob Zombie himself directed the accompanying music video, bringing his signature visual style to the project.
Physical editions of “I Love My Robot” are scheduled for release on October 30 as part of a special split release with Rob Zombie. The collectible package will feature Sheri’s new single alongside Rob’s track “Sir Lord Acid Wolfman,” which appears on the B-side of a limited-edition 12-inch picture disc.
According to the announcement, the release will be limited to 600 copies worldwide, with pre-orders available now through Nuclear Blast.
