The original lineup of SikTh have reconvened to celebrate the upcoming 20th anniversary of their 2006 sophomore album Death Of A Dead Day. Set for early 2026, the band will perform the album in full at two special UK shows, marking their first time bringing that era’s roster back together onstage.
Ahead of those dates, the group have released a new in-studio performance of “Bland Street Bloom,” the opening track from Death Of A Dead Day. The session was filmed at Marshal Studio in Milton Keynes, UK and directed by Ali White.
Guitarist Dan Weller spoke about the renewed chemistry within the reunited lineup, offering:
“Being in a room together with the original lineup was special. We have the fire back. There’s definitely unfinished business to be done next year.”
The band’s 20th anniversary shows are booked for the following dates:
02/26 Manchester, UK – Academy 2
02/28 London, UK – O2 Forum Kentish Town
Support will come from rising post-metalcore act Heriot.
