Silent Planet have unveiled a surprise new single titled “Wick”, available now exclusively via Bandcamp. As independent artists and currently operating without a label, the band has used this freedom to drop the track ahead of a wider digital release—and for a powerful cause.
“All proceeds from our Bandcamp downloads will be donated to ‘Return of Childhood’, an organization that strives to give Ukrainian children a chance at a full childhood despite the ongoing Russian invasion,” the band shared. “We are independent and we are yours. The Youth will outlast the tyrant and plant sunflowers on his grave. Lovers forever.”
The track was funded through the band’s Patreon, with production handled by Daniel Braunstein (Spiritbox, Dayseeker) and mixing/mastering by Buster Odeholm (Vildhjarta, thrown).
“Wick” is expected to hit streaming platforms in the near future, but for now, fans can grab it early while directly supporting a meaningful cause.
