Silvertomb have announced their long-awaited sophomore album ‘The Interpretation Of Nightmares’, marking the return of the doom metal collective featuring members of Type O Negative, Agnostic Front, Sheer Terror, and more.
The band’s new album, ‘The Interpretation Of Nightmares’, will arrive on November 13 via Steamhammer/SPV, serving as the follow-up to their 2019 debut effort ‘Edge Of Existence’.
Silvertomb features Type O Negative veterans Kenny Hickey and Johnny Kelly, alongside musicians with ties to several influential acts across the heavy music scene.
The lengthy gap between albums was addressed by Hickey, who explained that a combination of outside circumstances and personal struggles delayed the band’s progress.
“Just as things were really beginning to take off for Silvertomb, our hands were suddenly tied for a number of years due to the pandemic and its long-lasting aftermath; on top of that, I had a drinking problem that urgently needed sorting out.”
The band has also released the first single from the upcoming record, “No Way To Live,” which arrives alongside a newly released music video.
Fans can watch the video for “No Way To Live” below and get a first preview of the dark, atmospheric direction Silvertomb will explore on ‘The Interpretation Of Nightmares’.
