Welsh ragga metal outfit Skindred have premiered a new music video for “Big Em Up,” a track from their latest album, ‘You Got This’.
The record reached No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart, while “Big Em Up” delivers a message of positivity and encouragement from vocalist Benji Webbe. The frontman says the song is about checking in on friends, helping people through difficult moments, and pushing back against the negativity that can dominate everyday life and social media.
“‘Big Em Up’ is a simple message for everyone to check on their friends and to pick ‘em up and to try and encourage some positivity back into the world.”
The video was filmed by Corey Eyres.
Skindred will return to the stage later this month for a series of UK and Ireland shows, including several dates featuring Alien Ant Farm, Spineshank and Orgy.
