Skindred Debut “This Is The Sound” Video Ahead of ‘You Got This’ Album

Welsh ragga metal pioneers Skindred have premiered their new single “This Is The Sound” online, ahead of their forthcoming album You Got This, set for release on April 17th.

Frontman Benji Webbe described the track and its signature sound:

“Skindred’s sound has always been about fearlessly sailing on uncharted waters and using multiple influences to get the melting pot of ideas really smoking. ‘This Is The Sound’ pulls together evil dance hall vibes with a booming metal grind that hopefully makes you want to bang your head and scream along with the chorus. THIS IS THE SOUND THAT MAKES YOU GO CRAZY!”

The band have also scheduled a handful of UK shows around the album’s release, bringing their energetic live show to fans nationwide.
