Early-2000s nü-metal outfit Skrape appear poised for a comeback, signaling their return after being inactive for roughly two decades.
The band initially disbanded around 2004 following the release of two albums via RCA Records — New Killer America and Up The Dose — both of which helped establish them during the genre’s commercial peak.
Since that time, various members stayed active across the heavy music landscape, contributing to projects tied to Evanescence, Dark New Day, and Audiotopsy, among others.
Concrete details regarding this revival remain scarce for now. The clearest indication comes via newly launched official channels — including fresh Instagram and Facebook pages alongside an updated website presence — suggesting activity is once again underway behind the scenes. No music or live plans have been confirmed at the time of writing.

I love this band. I saw them play with Godhead and Powerman 5000 back in 2001. They blew me away! Really nice, down to earth guys too. I had a couple of drinks at the bar with them and got them to sign my copy of New Killer America. I’m excited they’re making a comeback.
Hell yes!!
Is Will Hunt too good for them now?
