Two members of the Crahan family are missing from Slipknot‘s newly launched Knotfest Australia tour. The Iowan masked metal band’s percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan was absent from the tour’s opening night in Melbourne, AUS. Similarly, his son Simon Crahan, drummer for Vended, has also missed the run due to a “family emergency.” While Slipknot have yet to release a statement on the situation, Vended, one of the tour’s opening acts, shared the following update last night:

Unfortunately due to a family emergency Simon will not be performing with us in Australia.
We will continue with a fill in drummer for the next few shows thank you for understanding, see you soon.
