Sodom Unveil Newly Re-Mixed Version Of “Jabba The Hutt”

Sodom have rolled out a newly re-mixed and remastered version of their 1994 track “Jabba The Hutt.” While the title nods to Star Wars, the German thrash metal veterans have long maintained that the song is actually based on a real individual—though they’ve never revealed exactly who inspired it.

This updated version arrives as part of the band’s forthcoming expanded reissue of ‘Get What You Deserve’, their sixth studio album. The reissue is set for release on February 27 via Noise/BMG and features refreshed audio that gives the notoriously abrasive record a modern sonic punch while preserving its raw intensity.
