Soreption has announced their new album Jord will release on June 10th through Unique Leader Records. Along with the news, the first single from the effort, a song called “The Artificial North” has been released with a video, which you can find below.
Fredrik Söderberg, the band’s vocalist, offered the following on the single:
“The concept of the song, in short, is about the extremes we go to for survival. How we slowly but surely become more digital than organic. At the end of it all, we become what we feared from the start. In the video we follow a man trapped in this rapidly evolving artificial north.”
