Soulfly Debut Animated Video For “Favela/Dystopia”

Groove metal veterans Soulfly have dropped a brand new animated video for “Favela/Dystopia”, which premiered today (April 14th).

The clip was brought to life by Creeptoons, who handled both the animation and direction for the visually striking release. According to the band, the video pulls inspiration from the eerie, stylized world of The Nightmare Before Christmas and blends it with the raw, street-level intensity of City of God — creating a unique fusion of dark fantasy and real-world grit.

The result is a chaotic and cinematic visual that mirrors the aggressive tone and atmosphere of the track itself.

The release arrives as Soulfly continue their current North American run, serving as direct support for shock metal legends GWAR. Opening duties on the tour are being handled by Australian grindcore outfit King Parrot.
