SPACED Sign to Pure Noise Records, Announce New EP ‘No Escape’ + Drop “Cause And Effect” Video

Buffalo, NY’s self-described “far-out hardcore” crew SPACED have officially signed with Pure Noise Records and announced their new EP No Escape, arriving October 17th. Produced by Jay Zubricky (Every Time I Die, Terror), the release is introduced with the blistering new single “Cause And Effect”, complete with an official music video.

Vocalist Lexi Reyngoudt explained the message behind the track:

“This song expresses the anger and frustration we feel about our current society and the norms that are placed upon us. We’re told to be quiet and just obey but we really should be fighting back and speaking our minds. ‘Cause and Effect’ is an anthem for the times: ‘You pushed us too far; now it’s time we push back.’”

Speaking on the EP as a whole, Reyngoudt added:

“I want this record to reach new people and show them that hardcore doesn’t have to just be the tough guys. It can be anybody. We’re a band that loves to play with the heaviest of bands and the softest of bands, and that’s what’s really cool about this. People have called us a gateway band, and to be in a scene like this is, I think, just the coolest thing.”
