Gold-certified alternative metal outfit Spiritbox took the stage at the 2026 ‘GRAMMY Awards’ Premiere Ceremony earlier today, February 1st, performing their track “Soft Spine” at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, CA.
The appearance coincided with the band’s third GRAMMY nomination to date, with “Soft Spine” competing in the Best Metal Performance category alongside releases from Ghost, Sleep Token, and Dream Theater. Ultimately, the award went to Turnstile for their song “Birds.”
Despite not taking home the trophy, Spiritbox’s performance marked a notable moment for the band. Their invitation to perform comes a year after vocalist Courtney LaPlante went viral when she was mistakenly identified as Poppy during a red carpet interview at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards, making this year’s onstage appearance a fitting full-circle moment.
Footage of Spiritbox’s performance from the Premiere Ceremony can be viewed below.

Courtney killed it and looked stunning doing it
