Spiritbox Removes “Crystal Roses” Single Following Early Release Error

Some fans of Canadian alternative metallers Spiritbox got an early preview of a new track, “Crystal Roses,” today (March 3rd)—albeit temporarily. The song unexpectedly surfaced online through digital service providers ahead of the band’s scheduled March 7th release of their sophomore album, Tsunami Sea.

In response, Courtney LaPlante, the band’s vocalist, clarified that the release was a mistake and that the single:

I don’t normally like to air out behind the scenes things like this, but we did not approve putting out another single today. None of us were aware this was happening. I am extremely disappointed and only found out about it late last night, by chance. Trying to take it down asap
