Splitview Release “Glare” Video Alongside Debut EP ‘Believe You’ll Be Alright’

Splitview have unveiled the official music video for “Glare”, arriving alongside the release of their debut EP, ‘Believe You’ll Be Alright’, out today (April 10th) via Static Era Records.

The Connecticut grungegazers tracked the five-song EP at John Naclerio’s Nada Recording, marking their first full-length statement as a band and introducing their blend of gritty alt-rock textures and emotionally charged songwriting.

“Glare” serves as one of the centerpiece tracks of the release, and vocalist Erik Brzoska says the song pulls from a wide range of personal and emotional themes, from relationships to faith and mental health struggles.

“There’s a lot of self-reflection in this track, notes of heartbreak, questioning faith, not feeling safe in the world, etc. It really became a compilation of the effects of personal issues and worldwide problems.”

He added that the track is intentionally open-ended in its interpretation, allowing listeners to connect with it in different ways depending on their own experiences.

“You can say the lyrics are about a personal relationship, your relationship with religion, your own mental state; there are a lot of ways that a listener can take this song in, and I love that.”

With Believe You’ll Be Alright now officially released, Splitview step into the scene with a debut that leans heavily into introspection, emotional weight, and the hazy aesthetics of modern grunge revival.
