Professional footage of Static Dress’ surprise appearance at this year’s Outbreak Fest has now surfaced online, giving fans a full look at the British post-hardcore band’s June 27 performance in Manchester, UK.
The band were added to the festival lineup as a secret act, with organizers and Static Dress helping fuel speculation that the mystery performers could actually be a reunion of Title Fight.
That turned out to be a deliberate bit of misdirection, with Static Dress playing along with the fake-out before taking the stage and revealing themselves to the crowd.
The set also featured a cover of Higher Power’s “Can’t Relate”, adding another highlight to the surprise performance.
Now, the professionally filmed set has been released online, allowing those who weren’t in Manchester—and those who were caught up in the initial mystery—to see exactly how the reveal played out.
