Static-X‘s upcoming new album Project Regeneration Vol. 1‘s digital/CD production has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will now see a release on July 10th, instead of the originally slated May 29th release. Vinyl will be released on August 14th. The band’s surviving members Tony Camps, Koichi Fukuda, and Key Jay used unreleased studio recordings that were left behind by the band’s late frontman/guitarist Wayne Static.
The band has also released a new music video for their new single, “All These Years” to help fans ease the wait. Ken Jay offered the following on the video:
“It’s very challenging to represent someone in a music video, who is no longer alive, but that was something that we really wanted to do and I think it came out great. These are some of Wayne’s last works, so we really wanted to make this video all about him and to continue to celebrate his life and legacy. What better way to do that than through a fun, fictional story about how Wayne was inspired to become the legend that who he became through Static-X.”
