Steel Panther Premiere “The Mother’s Day Song” Video, Sign With Frontiers Music SRL

Steel Panther are back with their first piece of new music in roughly three years, unveiling the tongue-in-cheek new single “The Mother’s Day Song” just ahead of this weekend’s holiday celebrations. The glam metal satirists also rolled out an accompanying music video for the track, once again teaming with longtime collaborator J.T. Arbogast behind the camera.

The clip pays homage to The Beatles and their legendary appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show, while delivering the over-the-top humor fans have come to expect from the band.

The release also marks Steel Panther’s first material since signing with Frontiers Music SRL. Speaking on the new partnership, the band joked:

“We’ve signed a lot of things in our career including more body parts than we can remember, but we have now officially signed with Frontiers. Serafino and his team sent us a better batch of drugs and hookers than they gave to Dave Mustaine and Megadeth, and we all saw how great that album did. Those Italians know how to rub us the right way, and they paid us while doing it. We can’t wait to go visit them in their homeland and enjoy their women and wine. Hide your moms, priests, and nuns.”

The release of “The Mother’s Day Song” arrives as the band prepare for an extensive European and UK tour this summer.
