After several years away, New York-based nü-metalcore outfit Sylar have officially returned with a brand new single titled “Pushing Me Off,” marking their first new music since 2018.
The track arrives alongside an accompanying music video directed by Tom Flynn, whose past work includes visuals for As I Lay Dying and Many Eyes. The video serves as Sylar’s formal reintroduction following a lengthy hiatus, during which the band remained largely quiet on the release front.
Sylar’s most recent full-length album, Seasons, was released in 2018, making “Pushing Me Off” their first new material in several years and a clear signal that the band is once again active.
