System Of A Down and Faith No More have officially announced a long-rumored 2027 Australian and New Zealand tour, confirming that the two influential alternative metal acts will hit the road together across the region next January and February.
The announcement follows a wave of speculation sparked earlier this week after both bands began teasing a potential tour through social media and promotional campaigns. Fans can now register for presale access through the tour’s official ticketing platform ahead of tickets becoming available.
Presales begin on July 28th at the following local times:
- Sydney — July 28th @ 9:00 AM
- Melbourne — July 28th @ 10:00 AM
- Brisbane — July 28th @ 11:00 AM
- Wellington — July 28th @ 10:00 AM
The general public onsale is scheduled to begin on July 31st.
The newly announced run marks a significant milestone for both bands. For Faith No More, it will be their first confirmed tour since announcing their return earlier this year. The band had remained inactive since 2021 following a period of internal uncertainty and canceled touring plans.
Meanwhile, System Of A Down will be making their long-awaited return to Australia and New Zealand for the first time since 2012, ending a 15-year absence from the region.
With two of alternative metal’s most influential and celebrated acts sharing the bill, the tour is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated rock and metal events of 2027.
