System Of A Down will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their landmark sophomore album ‘Toxicity’ with a special week-long exhibition in Los Angeles, CA this October.
The System Of A Down x Beyond The Streets: Toxicity 25th Anniversary Exhibition will run from October 13 through October 18 at Beyond The Streets, with admission free throughout the event.
Originally released on September 4, 2001, ‘Toxicity’ became a defining release of System Of A Down’s career, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album has continued to receive renewed recognition over the years, including a series of diamond, platinum and gold certifications announced earlier this year.
The upcoming Los Angeles exhibition will bring together memorabilia and visual elements from the ‘Toxicity’ era, including rare artifacts and ephemera, exclusive merchandise, immersive installations and album-related iconography.
The event is being billed as an opportunity for longtime fans and newer listeners to explore the history and lasting impact surrounding one of System Of A Down’s most celebrated records.
The anniversary celebration follows a recent batch of limited-edition vinyl releases commemorating the album’s 25th year.
