Thrash metal veterans Testament are making sure their third studio album, Practice What You Preach, gets the celebration it deserves for its 35th anniversary. The band has just announced a spring tour, where they will perform the album in its entirety each night.
In a statement released on March 4th, the band shared:
“In support of the Practice What You Preach reissues through Nuclear Blast, we wanted to do something special and intimate for the fans, performing deep cuts and classic ballads for the first time ever!”
Chuck Billy offered:
“We’re getting ready to ‘Practice What You Preach’ across the U.S. this May. We’ll be playing the album in full, telling stories, performing a few acoustic tunes, and wrapping up with some of our best deep cuts. This will be an ‘Evening with Testament’ that you don’t want to miss! Horns up!”
Eric Peterson offered:
“This will be a night to remember! We’ve got some great stories to share about making the record and where we were in our career at that time. Practice What You Preach was our third full-length, major-label release, and our most commercially successful album at the time. We’ll be playing songs you’ve probably wanted to hear forever—songs we’ve never done live before, but will in the ‘Evening with Testament!’”
