THE AGONY SCENE Add Ex-Enterprise Earth Guitarist BJ Sampson As Work Continues On New Album

The Agony Scene are officially back in action, currently working on their first new album since 2018’s Tormentor. Earlier this month, frontman Mike Williams confirmed the metal outfit’s return and the ongoing progress of their fifth full-length in a video update shared online.

Now, the band has revealed that BJ Sampson — formerly of Enterprise Earth — has joined their ranks as a guitarist and songwriter. Sampson is no stranger to the group’s creative circle, having previously collaborated with Williams and former The Agony Scene bassist Ryan Folder in the 2021 project Imperium AD.

With Sampson now officially on board and studio work underway, the upcoming release is shaping up to mark a strong new chapter for the Oklahoma metalcore veterans.
