The Gloom In The Corner have unveiled their latest single, “Nope (Hollow Point Elysium)”, which is now streaming online.
The concept-driven metalcore outfit are continuing the rollout for their upcoming third studio album, ‘Royal Discordance’, due out February 27 via SharpTone Records. Known for blending narrative-heavy themes with aggressive modern metalcore, the band describe the new track as a high-octane nod to the action films and video games that shaped their creative influences.
In a statement accompanying the release, the band explained:
“‘Nope’ is the ode to some of my favorite action movies and video games growing up. A bullet ballet for metalcore that will — much like the definition of ‘Hollow Point Elysium’ — blow your head smooth off.”
“Nope (Hollow Point Elysium)” serves as another chapter in the larger conceptual framework of Royal Discordance, further setting the tone for what’s to come from the band’s next full-length release.
