The Narrator Premiere “Agnosia” Video

German metalcore outfit The Narrator rolled out a new music video earlier this week (April 9th), unveiling “Agnosia” as the latest preview of their upcoming album ‘Phosphor’.

The track takes its name from a neurological condition that impacts a person’s ability to process sensory information, a concept that ties directly into the song’s deeper emotional themes.

While the band themselves have kept commentary minimal, accompanying press materials shed light on the track’s direction:

“The song delves into emotional numbness, inner turmoil, and the longing to be understood… blurring the line between suffering and identity.”

With its focus on isolation, pain, and self-destructive tendencies, “Agnosia” continues to showcase the darker, introspective edge of The Narrator’s sound heading into their next full-length.

That album, ‘Phosphor’, is currently slated for a May 8th release through Nuclear Blast, marking the band’s sophomore effort.
