Well before the recent lineup shift that saw the departure of longtime vocalist Loïc Rossetti, guitarist David Ramis Åhfeldt, and drummer Paul Seidel, German post-metal collective The Ocean recorded an in-studio live session for Audiotree.
Filmed on July 28th, 2024, in Chicago, IL, the performance captured the band delivering a dynamic four-song set drawn from different eras of their catalog. The lineup featured in the session represented the group’s configuration prior to the seismic changes announced earlier this year.
Setlist:
- “Mesopelagic: Into The Uncanny”
- “Firmament”
- “Sea Of Reeds”
- “Cambrian II: Eternal Recurrence”
Audio from the session is also available now on major digital streaming platforms.
