Post-metal collective The Ocean have released a new in-studio performance video for their latest single, “Belligerence”.
The performance was filmed at Studio Hiba in Casablanca, Morocco on June 6, 2026, offering fans a live look at one of the first tracks unveiled from the band’s forthcoming studio album, ‘Solaris’.
Set for release on September 25th, ‘Solaris’ takes inspiration from Andrei Tarkovsky’s 1972 science fiction classic ‘Solaris’, continuing The Ocean’s long-running tradition of building conceptual works around philosophical and cinematic themes.
The upcoming album also marks a significant evolution in the band’s lineup, with several new members contributing to the record. Among them are vocalists Enrico Tiberi (formerly of EyeHate) and Lane Shi (Elizabeth Colour Wheel, Otay), alongside guitarists Emmanuel Jessua (Hypno5e) and Marco Gennaro.
With “Belligerence” already showcasing the band’s latest creative direction, the newly released studio performance provides another preview of what listeners can expect from ‘Solaris’ when it arrives later this year.
