THE SADDEST LANDSCAPE Sign To Iodine Recordings, Return With First New Music In Nearly A Decade

Long-running Boston screamo outfit The Saddest Landscape have officially joined the roster at Iodine Recordings, marking their first major move in almost ten years. Alongside the signing, the band have released a new single titled ‘Hexes’, their first fresh material since the mid-2010s. A full double LP is scheduled to arrive in 2026.

Iodine Recordings announced the signing with a statement celebrating the band’s legacy and previewing the themes behind their long-awaited return:

“WELCOME THE SADDEST LANDSCAPE to Iodine Recordings! New single ‘Hexes’ out now + Limited Flexi 7” included with all Black Friday Sale orders.”

In a longer message, the label reflected on the emotional weight and intensity the group have honed over two decades:

“The Saddest Landscape have been perfecting their balance of frantic hardcore and cathartic vulnerability for over 20 years and return with a double LP on Iodine Recordings in 2026. Their first new music in a decade, the full length dives fearlessly into themes of survival, grief, the ache that follows, and the fragile hope that keeps us pushing through the dark. These songs exist in the place where the things not said aloud dwell, where memory turns to ash, where love outlives the wreckage. One of the most enduring voices in modern post-hardcore, The Saddest Landscape have returned after a decade, making sure we’re still alive.”

‘Hexes’ is streaming on all major platforms now, with a limited flexi 7″ available for free through Black Friday purchases from Deathwish US, Evil Greed, Iodine Recordings, and directly from the band.
