Swedish nü-metalcore outfit Thrown have premiered their new single “Unwanted,” the title track from their forthcoming sophomore album.
The new song arrives ahead of the album’s November 6 release, giving fans another preview of what the band have been working toward following their breakthrough debut.
The release comes as Thrown prepare to make their return to the United States alongside Norma Jean, BOLTCUTTER and Half Me. However, visa delays within the touring party have forced the band to reschedule the opening dates of the run.
The tour was originally scheduled to begin October 1, but the initial shows have now been pushed back. Thrown are currently scheduled to resume the trek on October 3 in Norwalk, Connecticut.
The band addressed the situation in a statement issued September 30:
“Due to unforeseen visa delays within the touring party, our shows in Asbury Park and Allentown have been rescheduled. All tickets remain valid for the new dates.
“We are really sorry for the inconvenience and are doing everything we can to make it in time for the show in Norwalk on Saturday.”
The rescheduled Allentown appearance will now take place October 18, while the previously scheduled Asbury Park date has been moved to October 19.
The updated itinerary also includes an appearance at Furnace Fest in Birmingham, Alabama, where Half Me will not be performing.
