Australian deathcore giants Thy Art Is Murder have just dropped their first new single since the heated release of their 2023 album Godlike. That album marked a major shake-up for the band, as they split with vocalist CJ McMahon over his divisive views on gender identity, leading to his departure just days before the album’s release. Tyler Miller stepped in as the new vocalist, re-recording McMahon’s parts and helping the band navigate a turbulent album launch.
Now, with the dust finally settling, the release of their new single “Through Blood I Purify” officially kicks off the Miller-fronted chapter of the band. A lyric video for the track is live below, and Thy Art Is Murder are set to hit the road in the coming months with shows at the venues listed below.
