Tigercub have officially released their new album ‘Nets To Catch The Wind’, celebrating the launch with a music video for the standout single “Silver Smile.”
Frontman Jamie Stephen Hall offered insight into the meaning behind the track, describing it as something deeply rooted in the subconscious.
“‘Silver Smile’ is about a composite figure I only ever meet in dreams, my mind splicing together people I’ve known, with all their traits showing up wearing the same face.”
Musically, “Silver Smile” stands out as one of the most ambitious moments on the record, leaning into dense arrangements, layered guitar work, and a more cinematic approach to production. The track reflects Tigercub’s continued evolution toward a darker and more expansive sound, blending emotional weight with atmospheric tension.
‘Nets To Catch The Wind’ arrives once again via Loosegroove Records, the label co-founded by Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam, who has been a longtime supporter of the band’s growth and direction.
With the album now out in full, Tigercub continue to refine their identity, pushing further into a space that balances heavy dynamics with melodic depth.
