Swedish multi-platinum musician Tobias Forge, the mastermind behind Ghost, has reportedly initiated legal proceedings against a woman in her 40s accused of stalking him. According to Swedish publication Aftonbladet, Forge began receiving unwanted messages from the woman via text and WhatsApp last year. After blocking her, the woman allegedly escalated by sending registered mail, including a cellphone Forge believes may have been tampered with. While he avoided collecting most of the packages, he did accept the phone and turned it over to authorities.
The alleged harassment reportedly occurred between July and October 2025 and included repeated Swish requests totaling 5,000 kronor. Forge maintains that he had no prior relationship with the woman, though she reportedly told police they first met 16 years ago, stayed in daily contact, and even became engaged in late September.
Forge is not seeking financial damages, stating: “I don’t want to make her life worse. I just want her to leave me alone and not hurt anyone else.” Aftonbladet also notes that the woman faces additional charges for unlawful stalking, sexual assault, and multiple counts of assault against two other individuals, which she has denied.
