Tom Morello is set to join forces with Irish rap trio Kneecap for his upcoming single “Unconquered,” marking the latest collaboration from the Rage Against The Machine guitarist’s forthcoming solo album.
The track is scheduled to arrive September 25, the same day Morello’s new solo rock album, ‘Everyone Gets Everything They Want,’ is set for release.
The collaboration also brings a full-circle element to the pairing. Morello previously singled out Kneecap as one of the most important politically outspoken acts working today, famously describing them in 2025 as “the Rage Against The Machine of now.”
During an appearance on ‘The Strombo Show’ last year, Morello praised the group’s willingness to challenge those in power:
“They’re clearly the Rage Against The Machine of now, like there’s them, and there’s a gap to the next one.”
Morello continued to defend Kneecap’s political expression at the time, arguing that their music represented the kind of direct confrontation with power that artists and audiences alike could embrace.
His comments subsequently drew criticism from Disturbed frontman David Draiman, who called Morello’s praise of Kneecap “shameful” while citing the group’s positions regarding the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict.
Now, more than a year after Morello first made those comments, “Unconquered” will officially bring the two acts together on record.
The song will be included on ‘Everyone Gets Everything They Want,’ which also features Morello’s previously released solo material and is due out September 25.
