Tom Morello Postpones Spring Solo Dates To Tour With Bruce Springsteen

Tom Morello is reshuffling his spring schedule in order to return to the road with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. The Rage Against The Machine guitarist announced today (February 24th) that several of his previously scheduled solo appearances will either be canceled or postponed as he joins Springsteen’s upcoming ‘Land Of Hope & Dreams American Tour.’

The renewed collaboration follows Springsteen’s appearance at Morello’s ‘Defend Minnesota’ charity concert in Minneapolis last month, which doubled as an anti-ICE protest show. Reflecting on that event and their shared mission, Morello explained his decision on social media:

“After Bruce joined me last month in Minneapolis for our ‘Defend Minnesota‘ charity concert, I was reminded how important our platform is, and how crucial the resistance work is that our music can do together at this dangerous historical juncture. Together, Bruce, the E Street Band, and I are going to turn a spotlight on the current threats to democracy and human rights happening all around us the in the spirit of freedom, justice, and rock n roll. This will necessitate postponing a few of my solo shows in May. I have a deep love and respect for all my friends, fans & comrades and I promise that we will find a way to be together for these shows, in these towns, very soon.”
