    Tom Morello Criticizes Trump Administration Over Alleged Nazi-Era Slogan Usage

    Rage Against The Machine guitarist and Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer Tom Morello has spoken out against the Trump administration and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, accusing them of using what he described as a “Nazi mass murder slogan.”

    Morello took issue with the phrase “One of ours, all of yours,” which appeared on a podium used by Kristi Noem, the current United States Secretary of Homeland Security. The image shared by Morello was captured during a January 8th, 2025 press conference addressing an ICE-involved shooting that resulted in the death of Renee Good.

    Addressing the matter on social media on January 12th, Morello wrote:

    “BREAKING: Today the Trump admin quoted the Nazi mass murder slogan, ‘One of ours, all of yours.’ Coined when an SS officer was killed and the Nazis murdered every male resident of the village in response. If there are any MAGA left after THIS, you have made an irrevocable choice.”

    According to Morello, the phrase has historical ties to retaliatory massacres carried out by Nazi forces during World War II. He has also amplified criticism of the administration’s messaging in recent weeks by reposting content on X (formerly Twitter) that alleges fascist or extremist overtones in official government slogans.

    When asked for comment by Billboard, a spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security dismissed the accusation, stating:

    “Calling everything you dislike ‘Nazi propaganda’ is tiresome. DHS will continue to use all tools to communicate with the American people and keep them informed on our historic effort to Make America Safe Again.”

    Morello has been an outspoken critic of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) policies, frequently participating in protests and anti-ICE activism over the past year. While often targeted by conservative critics, Morello has historically directed criticism toward both major U.S. political parties.

    Last November, Morello also launched a line of politically charged merchandise featuring slogans such as “Destroy American Fascism,” “Deport Racists,” “Nazi Lives Don’t Matter,” and “Arrest The President.”

Could it mean when you as a public servant use your podium to incite violence against the people of the opposing party by telling your followers to “get in their faces where they eat and where they work”.
